Productinformation

Originally from South Africa, the Agapanthus is a South African symbol of love. In this Agapanthus mix, you will receive 6 rhizomes with white and blue flowers for a nice contrast. The Agapanthus blooms from July to September and will be a real eye-catcher in your summer garden. The beautiful flowers grow on tall stems that can reach up to 80 cm high. The plants can be planted both indoors and outdoors and do well in a pot. The unusual flowers can also be used as cut flowers. Agapanthus can be planted from April to May.

Care
Plant the bulb in a pot with good soil. After the risk of night frost have disappeared, the Agapanthus can also be planted outside. Plant them 10 cm deep in humus-rich, well-drained soil in a spot in the full sun. When planting in flower pots and planters, always use new potting soil. During the growth period, it is important to water the tubers regularly, reduce watering in autumn and provide protection in the winter. The Agapanthus is not resistant to frost. Therefore, it is recommended to grow the plants in a pot and overwinter them frost-free. Keep the potting soil on the dry side in winter. Water more in early spring and put the Agapanthus outside again in spring (after the last night frost).
