There are many words that can be used when describing the Alocasia plants — stunning, architectural, jewel-like and all of them are appropriate. Sometimes called elephant ears, the Alocasia plants are very tropical and exotic indoor plants. The Alocasia ‘Red Secret’ is one of the most exotic Alocasia's with huge shiny, red leaves. The Alocasia Red Secret is a houseplant that is special because of the particularly metallic glossy leaves. Its beautiful large shield-shaped leaves have a red-purple glow.

Care
Although its unique appearance, the Alocasia is quite easy to care for. This slow-growing Alocasia prefers a moist soil and a spot with sufficient shade. The plant likes to be kept out of direct sunlight with a high humidity, occasionally spray some water around the plants. Most profitable amount of (indirect) sunlight is around 3 to 4 hours per day.

The plants have a height of 25 to 35 cm on delivery (measured incl. Pot). The plants are supplied in pots with a diameter/diameter of 12 cm.
