Origin and care
The Alocasia is originally from the tropics of Asia, and in particular from India. These plants are also called Elephant Ear.
The Alocasias thrive best with a constantly moist soil. "a little less in the winter, a little more in the summer but rather not large quantities at once. The Alocasia also likes it when it is sprayed very regularly.
The alocasia thrives best in sunlight. So place the plant near a window. Not enough light and the plant will grow its leaves towards the light.
Administer the Alocasia Zebrina once a month during the growth period with some liquid food. Fertilizing is not necessary in winter.
