Amaryllis bulb 'red' - set of 2

Bring the winter atmosphere into your home with the Amaryllis! The beautiful, stylish white flowers steal the show in your winter interior. The special plant is native to South and Central America and the Caribbean and are extremely popular in Europe. The bulb can be grown with or without soil, or placed loose on a bowl. However they are styled, they will shine either way. Depending on temperature, the bulb will bloom 7 to 10 weeks after planting. You can then enjoy the beautiful flowers for 3 to 6 weeks. With proper care, the bulbs can bloom multiple times after blooming, allowing you to enjoy your Amaryllis bulb for years to come! The bulb comes with a circumference of approximately 32cm.

 

The Amaryllis can be planted with the lower half of the bulb in soil, or with the roots in water in a glass vase. The Amaryllis likes a nice warm temperature in the room, 20-24 degrees is perfect! A spot above the heating is therefore fine, the plant becomes very happy with a warm surface. The Amaryllis requires a light spot. If they are too dark, the stems will grow too long so they will need more support. Before they flower they often need to be woken up, this can be done by soaking the bulb in a bowl of lukewarm water for an hour.

 

When delivered, the bulbs have a circumference of about 32 cm.
