Passiflora
Passiflora edulis is a climbing plant of South American origin that hasa dapted to grow anywhere in the world, even in less warm climates. In addition to producing passion flowers, this plant is known for growing passion fruits. Passion fruits have a leather-like peel, but their flesh is soft and yellow, contains edible seeds and has a refreshing, sweet taste. Passion fruits are full of vitamins A and C, potassium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus.
