Not much can be done wrong with the Chlorophytum (grass lily). She is a very robust sturdy plant that forgives care mistakes without immediately withering away. So an ideal plant for beginners. One of its major advantages is that it is able to filter harmful substances from the indoor climate.
From sun to shade, the grass lily can basically hang and stand anywhere. It gets along well with both heat and cool temperatures. She also doesn't mind dry air. Normally, the plant is placed in a somewhat cooler place - but this is not necessarily necessary. Brown tips at the tips of the leaves are a sign of too dry air. With too little light, the light stripes on the leaves disappear or the leaves droop.
Depending on the temperature, the water requirement ranges from normal to higher. The plant does not like accumulating moisture! She forgives if people sometimes forget to water the plant. Fertilize from spring through fall once a week with a liquid indoor plant fertilizer. If the plant is in a cool place in winter, it does not need to be fertilized during this time, otherwise every 3 weeks.
This nice grass lily is ideal for the catering industry, companies and schools, but also just for at home!
