The Dracaena is originally from the tropics of Asia and Africa. This plant, also called Dragon's Blood Tree, is easy to maintain and therefore very suitable as a room and / or office plant. The ideal temperature is + - 20 degrees. Water reasonably during the summer, but make sure that the root ball does not get too wet, "allow it to dry slightly between watering" otherwise leaf loss will occur.
Spraying the Dracaena is not necessary, but it does promote health. It works preventively against pests and helps to remove dust.
Dracaenas don't need much light, 3 hours a day is enough. Only the variegated specimens should be slightly lighter compared to their dark-leaved counterparts.
Green plants generally require less nutrition than flowering plants. Do not administer food in winter. Do not start with this until spring. Once every two months is sufficient. Look for the correct dosage on the packaging, but rather give less than more!
