The Eucalyptus Citriodora is native to southeastern Australia and is the favourite meal of koalas. The Citriodora spreads a lovely lemon scent, which as a bonus keeps mosquitoes at bay. The leaves are fresh green, long-stemmed and have an unusual red vein. The plant is evergreen, so you can enjoy its beautiful green colour all year round. This Eucalyptus leaf is often used for aromatic oils, the fragrance keeps the airways healthy and helps with breathing during colds. It also has an air-purifying effect. If you want to recreate the ultimate wellness experience at your home, pour some boiling water on a handful of eucalyptus leaves to create your own steam bath.
The Eucalyptus Citriodora likes a sunny spot in well-drained soil. When pruned regularly, the Eucalyptus remains a small shrub. If not pruned, it can grow into a metre-high tree. Depending on your personal preference, the way you prune the Eucalyptus is very important. If you want to keep it compact, March is the best time to prune it back.
The plants are delivered with a height of 40 to 50cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 19cm.
