The origin of the Ficus is from South-East Asia, you can find this plant mainly in Indonesia. It belongs to the Moraceae family (Mulberry-like species).
Give the Ficus an even environment with lots of light all year round, but avoid direct sunlight.
Yellowing and leaf loss can occur with sudden temperature changes. Preferably place in a place with a relatively high humidity. Water the plant generously, but avoid too wet or too dry root ball, this also causes leaf loss. Spray the plant regularly or wipe it off with moisture. New potting soil every year promotes and extends the life of the plant. Repot once every 2 to 3 years.
If the ficus grows too large, it is best to prune the plant in the spring or summer with a pair of pruning shears, to stop the bleeding afterwards, it is best to use wood ash.
Lots of light, not in the bright sun.
Ideal temperature 18 - 20º C.
Keep moist, potting soil should not dry out.
Do not leave excess water in the pot / saucer.
Fertilize twice a month.
Repot annually in a larger pot.
