The dahlia 'Happy Single Mix' is a colourful mix of various striking dahlia flowers. These dahlias are summer bloomers that you will provide your garden with a colour boost for months, as they flower from July until the first night frost. The dahlias grow up to about 60 cm high. The beautifully coloured flowers will be real eye-catchers in the border. Dahlias are also very suitable as cut flowers to be kept in a vase for a long time. The best time to cut dahlias is early in the day. After cutting, place the stems directly in lukewarm water with cut flower food and enjoy the dahlia’s beauty indoors. In this mix, you will receive 6 dahlia tubers that can be planted from March to May.
Care
Dahlia bulbs can be planted in spring, but beware of late night frosts. The plants are sensitive to frost. Dig a spacious planting hole, loosen the soil and fill the planting hole with good potting soil. Carefully place the tubers in the planting hole and cover with 3-5 cm. of soil. The planting distance of the tubers of dahlia 'Happy Single Mix' is 30-60 cm. After planting, water the tubers immediately. Dahlias flower most profusely in full sun. After flowering, store the tubers in a frost-free place and you will enjoy them for years.
