Ilex 'Alaska' holly - set of 4

The Ilex Alaska will steal the show in your garden with its beautiful, glossy dark green leaves. The plant will remain green throughout the year. Between May and June, beautiful white flowers adorn your garden, attracting bees and butterflies. Between September and May the familiar red berries will appear. You probably know these berries from Christmas. The berries can be used as decoration and will attract birds, making your garden full of life all year round! The Ilex Alaska makes a strong, stylish hedge that will keep unwanted visitors out with its prickly leaves. Plants will be delivered with a height of 25-35cm, measured including the pot.

 

The Ilex Alaska is not difficult and can be placed in sun, semi-shade and shade. The plant prefers a moist soil. You can water the plant twice a week during dry, hot periods. Be aware, however, that too much water can cause the roots to rot. The Ilex Alaska can be pruned once a year. Should you prefer a narrow hedge, you can prune the plant twice a year, namely in April and September.

 

Upon delivery, the plant has a height of 25 to 35cm (measured incl. pot). The plant comes in a pot with a diameter/diameter of 17cm.
