The Rhipsalis family is also called the cactus of the jungles. The approx. 60 different species grow on the tree trunks in partial shade under the treetops of the rainforests. The Rhipsalissen use the tree as an anchorage and hang down with long tendrils themselves. The Rhipsalis species are found in Central and South America as well as in Africa and some islands in the Indian Ocean. The Rhipsalis product group includes a wide range of varieties that are very trendy. The Rhipsalissen are easy to care for, they can be anywhere in the house.
They do not need a lot of sun and can therefore also grow well in a shady place in your living room. If the plants are well cared for, they can last a very long time and also become quite large. It is no problem to cut the plant neatly into shape.
