The origin of this member cactus is Brazil. The plants grow in the trees and need little water. The plant can be placed in the sun in the winter and protected in the summer. To get the Schlumbergera into bloom again (after flowering), it must have short days from the beginning of September. Place the plant in an unlit room, in a bedroom, for example. After a month you can clearly see bud development. After another month, the Schlumbergera will be in full bloom again.
Extra tip: if the faded flowers are removed regularly, the plant is stimulated to grow other flower buds.
