The striking dahlia 'Melody Gipsy' is a beautiful summer bloomer that steals the show in the garden for months. In fact, it flowers from July until the first night frost. The dahlia can grow up to 60 cm high and combines well with perennials and other dahlia types. Care
Dahlia bulbs can be planted in spring, but beware of late night frosts. The plants are sensitive to frost. Dig a generous planting hole, loosen the soil and fill the planting hole with good potting soil. Carefully place the tubers in the planting hole and cover with 3-5 cm. of soil. The planting distance of the tubers of dahlia 'Melody Gipsy' is 30-60 cm. After planting, water the tubers immediately. dahlias flower most abundantly in full sun. After flowering, store the tubers in a frost-free place and you will enjoy them for years.
