Sansevieria Zeylanica
Origin and care
The Sansevieria is native to western Africa, from Nigeria to Congo, and belongs to the Succulent family. Today, the Sansevieria is mainly imported from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Thailand and China.
Sanseveria comes in many shapes and sizes and has developed a completely individual style due to its modern shapes.
There are grey, green, yellow-green, twisted, rosette-shaped or with (artificially) colored tops. There is something for everyone from 20 cm to 120 cm, thick and thin, etc. Due to its air-purifying qualities, the oxygen content in the house is increased. The humidity is also improved so that you suffer less from a dry throat or skin.
Keep Sanseverias evenly moist in spring and summer. In their own environment, these months usually correspond to the rainy season, when the plant is actively growing. During the autumn and winter you keep the plant rather dry. Simulate, as it were, the dry season of the place of origin. The plant then goes dormant.
Sanseverias love light. Therefore, give them a moderately light to bright spot. Sunlight is also possible. Since the Sanseveria is a tropical plant, the temperatures should not drop too low. During the day between 15 and 28 degrees Celsius and at night between 12 and 20 degrees Celsius.

Prachtige plant, incl pot 100cm echter is de pot maar voor de helft gevuld met plant. Als de diameter 15cm ipv 30 was geweest zou het ook hebben volstaan.
Dit vind ik erg spijtig!

Sterke punten:
Het was natuurlijk jammer dat we de planten minder snel kregen als verwacht, maar ik vond het juist erg professioneel dat wij een mail kregen dat ze nog niet verzonden konden worden i.v.m. de temperatuur (had ik zelf namelijk helemaal niet bij stil gestaan).
