Flower bulbs not only give the garden color during the spring. With summer-flowering bulbs you can create a beautiful colorful summer garden. Summer-flowering bulbs are easy to combine with garden perennials and shrubs.
Flower bulbs are planted during the bulb planting time. For spring-flowering bulbs, this is September through mid-January. In the spring (from March) you can plant summer-flowering bulbs. If you do it right, you can enjoy flower bulbs in your garden for months.
