The Dutch name of the Viburnum Opulus Roseum, also known as Viburnum Snowball, is the Gelderland Rose. It is an evergreen ornamental shrub that is a real asset in any garden. It blooms with beautiful white flowers from May to June. In addition, they grow beautiful (decorative) fruits and the leaves turn beautiful orange-red/purple colors in autumn, which makes it the eye-catcher in the autumn garden. The shrub has a bushy and round shape, full of white spherical flowers that sometimes take on a pink hue.
The Gelderland Rose prefers to be in sun or semi-shade, in soil that may always be cool, deep and even clayey and chalky. This shrub can stand heat waves and drought very badly. The Gelderland Rose does not need much pruning, the old wood can be cut away if necessary.
Upon delivery, the plants have a height of 25 to 40 cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 17cm.
