The Weigela Florida 'Nana Purpurea' is a Weigela with green-purple colored leaves and beautiful pink blossoms, brightening up your garden from May to June. Native to East Asia, Weigela is a graceful shrub (bush) with exuberant, trumpet-shaped flowers. The are ideally suited as a border or as a loose shrub in a smaller garden. The unusual trumpet-shaped flowers grow in elongated clusters and attract honeybees and butterflies. So if you choose a Weigelia, you are choosing a vibrant garden!
Care
The Weigela likes to stand on a moist soil in the sun, but can also be planted in semi-shade. In terms of maintenance, the Weigela is not difficult. The plant makes no specific demands on the type of soil. However, it is good to prune the Weigela every year after flowering in order to stimulate growth and future flowering.

Upon delivery, the plants have a height of 25 to 40cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 17cm.
