Productinformation
The beautiful Japanese Maple 'Little Princess' is an ornament for any garden, but also does well in a pot or container on terrace or balcony. It is a compact Japanese maple that can grow between 100-150 cm tall, which also makes it perfect as a Bonsai. Japanese Maple 'Little Princess' is a beautiful variety, sprouting light brown in spring, turning yellow with a red edge in summer and stealing the show in autumn with spectacular autumn colours. The Japanese Maple is hardy and deciduous.
Care
Japanese maples are best planted from March to early October. During this period, the soil is warmer and the plants can root well. In a planter, this plant does not require special potting soil. Japanese maples are strong plants but in a windy location, the leaves can be damaged. Therefore, place the Acer in a sheltered spot. The plant prefers a spot in semi-shade, preferably not too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can dry out the roots, leading to leaf loss and burning. A Japanese maple is not evergreen, meaning it loses its leaves in winter. However, the plant is very hardy and will sprout again from March with beautiful new leaves.
Plantheight
The plant has a height of 45 to 55 cm on delivery (measured incl. Pot). The plant is supplied in pot with a diameter of 19 cm.
