Originally an American plant, it is also common in Mexico and Guatemala. The leaves are glossy and remain green all winter, so even when the plant is not blooming it is an ornamental in the garden. The nice thing about this Ceanothus is that it grows on a pyramid of bamboo canes. This makes it grow beautifully into the sky!
