More information
The Citrus Kumquat, or Kumquat tree, is a beautiful ornamental citrus plant that grows little oval oranges with a slightly sour taste. This unusual citrus tree produces fragrant white flowers, followed by the bright orange fruits. Give it a sunny spot and enjoy the lemon tree in your own garden. The blossom of the Kumquat tree spreads a delicious sweet fragrance. The creamy white flowers appear abundantly during the spring and the tree gives fruit every year.
Care
The Kumquat does best as a tub plant. Choose a large flower pot with holes in the bottom so that the remaining water can drain away. Give the citrus tree plenty of water immediately after planting. Citrus prefers a sunny, sheltered location. Pruning a Citrus is not necessary. However, branches that are too long can be pruned back by half in February. Water the tree regularly in the summer: rainwater is preferred. Citrus is not a hardy tree and should therefore be brought inside before frost. The citrus tree can also be placed indoors all year round.
Size
The plant has a height of 50-60cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
