The Deutzia Hybrida Strawberry Fields, better known as the pink Deutzia in the Netherlands, is family of the Philandelphaceae. This beautiful ornamental shrub blooms from June through July with an abundance of beautiful white-pink flowers that will give your garden beautiful colors in the (early) summer. The pink Deutzia is known to be attractive to bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects. These plants are very low maintenance and ideal for any garden and gardener, with or without a green thumb.
Care
The Deutzia Strawberry Fields grows in a humus-rich, permeable and moist soil. The plant likes a spot in full sun or semi shade. The plant tolerates temperatures down to -25 degrees. After flowering, the Deutzia can be pruned. When pruning, the oldest branches may be cut back to the ground. The Deutzia is not poisonous.
