Spring will be one big party with this Forsythia Minigold, also known as Chinese bellflower. The beautiful golden yellow flowers are already in full bloom in March and cannot be missed. The flowers are oval-shaped and have a brilliant yellow color that puts you in the summer mood in early spring. This dwarf variety has compact growth, making it perfect for both larger and smaller gardens.
Care
The Chinese bellflower likes a sunny or semi-shaded position and a humus-rich soil. In the summer the plant will develop new shoots, which will give flowers in spring. The branches can be cut off at the end of winter and bloom well in a vase. After flowering, the deep green leaves appear and the plant requires less care. The Chinese bellflower is non-toxic.
