Physocarpus opulifolius 'Dart's Gold' is a striking appearance during the summer. The leaf of this meadowlark is yellow-green and it flowers from May to July with white flowers. After flowering, decorative red fruits are formed that have a nice contrast with the yellow leaves.
Care
Physocarpus opulifolius 'Dart's Gold' does not need any special care. Certainly do not prune too drastically but remove one or two old branches every year. Physocarpus likes a position in full sun or partial shade, well-drained, humus-rich soil with a preference for slightly acidic soil. The plant is well hardy.
