This Syringa mix of gorgeous purple, pink and white flowers will bring a romantic atmosphere to your garden. The Syringa is part of the olive family and finds its origins in Southeast-Europe. This ornamental shrub is perfect as a shrub border and can be combined with other shrubs. They blossom abundantly from May to June and while they are slow growers, they can grow up to 3 meters high. In this mix the following Syringa types are included:
- Syringa Ludwig Späth
- Syringa Michel Buchner
- Syringa Mme Lemoine.
Care
The lilac is very hardy and loses its leaves in autumn. He stands preferably in the sun or half shade. In a sunny position the shrubs will flower very richly. The Lilac has few soil requirements. After flowering, trim the shrub into shape, cut away shoots and immediately remove old branches so that new shoots get enough light and space.
Size
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
