Carex Bronco, also known as sedge, is an evergreen ornamental grass that grows about 40cm tall. The plant has long leaves that have a bronze/reddish-brown colour that will stay all year round. The Carex Bronco grows in a nice, graceful manner that makes it not only beautiful in the full soil, but also well suited to a flower pot on the balcony. In May and June, this plant blooms with beautiful bronze flower panicles. The Carex Bronco is a strong plant and is reasonably winter hardy.
Care
Carex Bronco prefers a moist soil in a sunny or semi-shady position. If you place it in the sun, make sure that the soil does not dry out too much. It is best to use garden soil for planting this plant. Carex Bronco is reasonably hardy, but in severe winters it is best to cover it.
