Nerium Oleander - Garden plant - ø21cm - Height 80-90cm

Nerium oleander is the full name of the ever-popular Oleander. The Oleander is native to Mediterranean countries. Here, these shrubs grow up to five meters high. However, when kept in a pot, these oleanders will not grow higher than two meters. The Nerium Oleanders originally grow near water and in nature they only get pink flowers. Nowadays, due to the many cultivations, various colours and types of oleander are available. These oleanders on stem come with gorgeous dark pink/red flowers.

Care
The care of the Nerium Oleander is not difficult. It can be outside all summer. A place in full sun will give lots of flowers, but be careful with watering. Oleanders like to stand with their feet in water when their head is in the sun. So, on summer days, water a lot! In late fall, the plant should be moved indoors in a cool place. The older and larger the plant gets, the more it can tolerate a few degrees of frost briefly. The Nerium is a perfect tub plant, suitable as a solitary on terrace or balcony. An oleander blooms for a long time: from early summer to late autumn. Important to know: This plant should not be eaten by humans or animals. The substances in the leaves are irritating and can be toxic if ingested in large quantities.

The plant has a height of 80-90cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 21cm.
