More information
Hydrangea arborescens 'Strong Pink Annabelle' is an immensely popular Hydrangea with beautiful pink flowers. Hydrangea arborescens (Latin name for Hydrangea) is native to North America and is a strong, deciduous shrub. The plant is very popular for its spectacular pink flowers that grow about the size of a football. The Pink Annabelle is a stronger, pink variety of the common Hydrangea Annabelle and stays upright better in rain and wind thanks to its sturdier stems. The Pink Annabelle grows about 125 cm high and has a long flowering period from July to September.
Care
Hydrangeas do not like drought and need a lot of water, especially in summer. It is best to give the hydrangea a large amount of water in one go. The plant can be planted from March to mid-October, both in open ground and in an ornamental pot. When planting, keep a distance of 75 cm between plants. The plant is best pruned in March. The harder you prune back the Strong Annabelle, the larger the flowers become.
Size
The plant has a height of 40-50cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
