If you want to grow fresh "superfruits" in your own garden, Lycium Barbarum (Goji berry) is the best! The berries are very medicinal and have good health benefits (contains vitamins, amino acids, carotene, rutin and polysaccharides) and also have a good taste. According to the Chinese, eating the Goji berry regularly is said to maintain youthfulness in the body. The berries are often used to make Goji berry juice, jam, jelly, tea or dried like currants. In addition to being easily kept in the ground, the Goji berry can also be kept as a tub plant.
Care
Plant goji berries in any well-drained soil in full sun. The plants can be pruned in early spring if they get too big. Lycium barbarum is very hardy and can tolerate temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius. Eventually the plants can grow to 150-200cm when fully grown.
Plant height
The plants have a height of 25 to 40cm on delivery (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 9cm.
