Just for the beautiful blossoms you want to have fruit trees in the garden or on the balcony, but real fruit from your own garden is of course the most beautiful and delicious thing there is. This set is ideal for people who want to start this quickly since these apple trees start fruiting after the first year. So there is no need to wait for years before the first fruits appear on the trees!
In the set there are 3 different types of apple trees:
Columnar apple 'Malus Braeburn'
Malus Braeburn is an apple tree species that always gives a lot of fruit every year. First the tree gets beautiful white-pink flowers, then grows its delicious apples. The fruit turns dark red and has a juicy, sweet taste with a distinct smell.
Columnar apple 'Malus Golden Delicious'
The Malus Golden Delicious, unlike the Malus Braeburn, grows green-yellow apples. Of course, this does not make the Golden Delicious any less delicious! In fact, the apples have a very sweet taste. The tree also has good fruit formation.
Columnar apple 'Malus Gala'
Malus Gala first blooms with white-pink flowers, and then grows red-yellow apples. These apples also have a delicious sweet taste and a recognizable apple scent. Malus Gala has a good fruiting habit and produces plenty of apples every year!
Care
The apple trees are very hardy and can be planted all winter in the garden (provided the ground is not frozen). The earlier you plant the trees the more beautiful they will bloom in spring and summer. This way the plant gets nice time to settle well in the ground, on to a beautiful spring! Fruit trees are ideal for small gardens, balconies and patios. Place the trees in full sun or half shade. The plants do not necessarily need pruning and will grow delicious edible apples.
Plant height
Upon delivery, the plants have a height of 60 to 70cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 9cm.
