Product Information
The passiflora is native to northern Argentina. In tropical and subtropical regions, it is a well-known plant because of its sweet fruits, also known as the passion fruit. Delicious passion fruits appear as early as the first year after flowering. The fruits taste fresh and sweet and sour. Besides giving delicious fruits, the plant also grows unusual, large flowers. These flowers grow from July to September. This is followed by the fruit from about September to October. The passiflora is very hardy, which ensures that the plant is covered with green leaves throughout the year. It is a climbing plant; the plants attach themselves and will quickly cover a trellis or wall. They are strong and fast growers and have many flowers. Furthermore, they are ideal plants for in a pot but can also be planted in the open ground. Passiflora plants can grow up to 3 or 4 meters. Also, the passiflora is very attractive to bees and butterflies.

This set consists of three plants in three different varieties; "Avalanche", "Pura Vida" and "Purple Haze".

Passiflora Purple Haze
The Passiflora Purple Haze has a light purple flower. Furthermore, the plant is hardy to -8C. The Purple Haze is a good and faster grower.

Passiflora Avanlanche
The Passiflora Avanlanche has white flowers. In addition to growing beautiful flowers, it also has unusual foliage. The Avanlanche is hardy to -10C.

Passiflora Pura Vida
The last plant in the mix grows red-purple flowers and is a beautiful annual. The plant is hardy to -6C.

Care
The passiflora has no complicated needs. It grows quickly and is not demanding when it comes to soil and nutrition. The plant prefers slightly moist soil and a sunny position with a little shade. However, the passiflora is toxic to pets.
