More information

Boston Ivy (Parthenocissus tricuspidata) is a magnificent, self-adhesive climbing plant with an enchanting red autumn colour. Thanks to its strong adhesive roots, it grows quickly and securely on walls and fences. In autumn the leaves turn bright red and develop beautiful orange patches. It then loses its leaves during the winter. The parthenocissus is a very fast-growing climber. It is also very winter hardy and can even withstand temperatures as low as -30C without any problems. However, we recommend covering young plants in case of moderate to severe frost. Boston Ivy can grow up to 6 metres tall.

Care
The wild vine is a very easy plant that needs little care. Place the plant in a permeable soil and do not water too much. It needs no support and easily climbs up by itself against its substrate. At the beginning, however, you can help the plant to grow in the desired direction. Place one or two plants per linear meter for the best effect.

Size
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 9cm.
