The Starcluster is commonly known as Pentas. It belongs to the family of the Rubiaceae, the bedstraw family. This family is known for its star-shaped flowers. Originally, the Starcluster comes from Northeast Africa and Egypt. The Starcluster is a strong indoor plant. It owes its name to its large star-shaped flowers, which makes it a true eye-catcher at home! Furthermore, the Pentas is not only attractive for people; bees and butterflies are attracted as well. The plant can flower lavishly between May and September. The Starcluster will be delivered in a set of 3 plants: a purple, pink and white plant.
Care
The Starcluster prefers a lighter place indoors. Since the plant grows many flowers, it requires much water. Preferably water the plant twice a week. Remove its dead flowers including stem, so the plant can produce new shoots with flowers. Furthermore, the Starcluster is an actual indoor plant, however, when the temperature is above 16 °C, it is also possible to place the plant outside. Eventually, the Starcluster grows up to approximately 50 cm. Furthermore, the Starcluster is not toxic.
Plantheight
Upon delivery, the plants have a height of 25 to 45cm (measured pot included). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 13cm.
