Fruit from your own garden, there is nothing better than that. Just for the beautiful blossoms alone, you want to have these fruit trees in the garden or on the balcony. On top of that, growing your own fruit is of course the tastiest thing there is. What is unique about these trees is that they start forming fruit after the first year. The set comes with three fruit trees. The trees grow compactly with minimal branches and carry the fruit close to the trunk. The trees are very hardy. The earlier you plant the trees the more beautiful they will bloom in spring and summer. This way the plant gets nice time to get well established in the soil, on to a beautiful spring! They can be planted in pots or in the ground. The fruit trees are also perfect for smaller gardens and balconies.
Each set includes the following fruit species:
Malus Braeburn - Apple
This apple tree grows lots of fruit every year. When the tree blooms, it produces beautiful white-pink flowers. This usually happens around May. Between September and October, apples grow on the tree. The fruit is dark red. The apples are sweet and juicy, and have a fine fragrance.
Pyrus 'doyenne du comice' - Pear
This tree also blooms around May. The flowers are white. The fruit eventually grows between September and October. This has a white-green color. These pears are also sweet and juicy with a fine fragrance.
Prunus 'Americana' - Apricot
The apricot tree grows its fruit between September and October. The fruit is orange-pink in color. When the tree is in bloom it grows the same color flowers. The apricots smell delicious, and taste sweet and juicy.
Care
Make sure the fruit trees catch as little wind as possible. This can damage the leaves and cause the fruit to die faster. Also, water the trees regularly. It is also advisable to prune the trees regularly for better fruit.
Plant height
Upon delivery, the plants have a height of 60 to 70 cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 9cm.
