Bring an exotic atmosphere into your living room with this beautiful Yucca Jewel! Originally, the Yuccas are found in warm and dry areas in Guatemala and Honduras. There, the palms can grow up to 9 meters tall! Fortunately, in the living room they do not grow taller than 2 meters. This easy houseplant stands out because of the beautiful yellow edges on the leaves.
Care
The Yucca Jewel does not like a lot of water. Watering once every fourteen days is more than enough. Especially in winter it is important to let the soil dry out well before the plant is watered again. A few weeks of no watering is not a problem. Remember that the Yucca needs a little more water in the spring and summer, especially on hot days. A Yucca can be placed in a light location. The leaves will stay nice and hard if there is enough light. In summer, the plant can also be placed outside, although it is important to avoid the midday sun. The Yucca is happy with at least five hours of direct sunlight a day, so place the plant especially in front of a window.
