Product Information
The Areca Dypsis Lutescens and the Spathiphyllum are the perfect combination of two popular houseplants with strong air-purifying properties.

The Areca palm has many names, but is best known as the Golden Palm. The Areca is originally from the humid tropics of Madagascar, but the plant has conquered almost all tropical areas. The palm tolerates polluted air very well and is therefore common in office-like work environments. Areca filters polluting particles from inhaled air through its leaves and therefore has an air-purifying effect. The Areca palm is one of the best palms to have in your home, not only does it filter many toxins from the air, but it also looks beautiful.

The Spathiphyllum is also called the Peace Lily because the flowers the plant grows resemble lilies. The Spathiphyllum is native to South America. In 1870, the Spathiphyllum was introduced to Europe. The upright white flowers are characteristic of this plant. The flowers of the Spathiphyllum are always white and often stick out above the plant, attracting extra attention. The larger the plant, the larger the flowers. A Spathiphyllum can bloom several times a year if properly cared for. The flowering period lasts up to 10 weeks at a time, making it an exceptionally long bloomer! The most important aspect of the Spathiphyllum is that it is an air-purifying plant. It removes pollutants from the air and gives oxygen in return!

Care
Both plants are fairly easy to care for. It is important to keep the pot ball moist, but the plants do not like wet feet. Therefore, water in small amounts and feel regularly if the soil is still moist. Furthermore, the plants prefer a place in the sun, but avoid direct sunlight. If the Spathiphyllum no longer develops flower branches, it can be encouraged to bloom by placing the plant in a cooler location for a few weeks.

Plant height
When delivered, the plants have a height of 60 to 75cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter/diameter of 17cm.
