Brugmansia 'Angel's Trumpet' - Mix of 3 - ø9cm - Height 25-40 cm

The Brugmansia still belonged to the Datura in the past. Decades ago, this group was split into Datura and Brugmansia. The main difference between these two plants are the trumpet-shaped flowers. The white, yellow or red flowers of the Brugmansia are much larger than those of the Datura. The Brugmansia is a true tub plant that will spread its sweet fragrance on any balcony and patio. In summer, this plant feels perfectly at home in the Dutch climate. Also in the winter months the Brugmansia can perfectly stand outside as long as it does not freeze. The Burgmansia is also called Angel Trumpet, the evergreen tree grows very fast and has beautiful, abundant and pleasantly fragrant blooms. The leaves are large, gray-green and soft with serrated, wavy or smooth edges. The trumpet-shaped flowers are very large, as much as 14-50cm long and 10-35cm in diameter. CAUTION:all parts of Brugmansia are poisonous. The seeds are especially poisonous.Dried parts also remain toxic.

The large leaves of the Brugmansia are hairy and evaporate so much during the summer months that you cannot avoid watering the Brugmansia every day. Be careful though, a permanently wet soil can lead to root rot. In winter, watering can be staggered, let the soil dry out between waterings but not bone dry or the plant will die. You can easily tell when to water: the leaves hang limp when they need water. The Brugmansia loves the summer heat and survives well in full sun.

When delivered, the plants have a height of 25 to 40cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter/diameter of 9cm.
