If there is one plant reminiscent of the Italian landscape, it is the Italian cypress. The columnar conifer grows up to 5m tall and is green even in winter. The trees grow spherical long cones. Plant these trees in groups to evoke a southern atmosphere. The Tuscan species is narrower and grows more slowly and compactly than the natural species. Therefore, this conifer fits well in a small garden.
Care
Make sure the soil is well drained so that water can drain away. Plant the Cypress in a large hole with Mediterranean potting soil and conifer fertilizer. Place the Cypress in full sun. It is wise to protect the plant during prolonged periods of severe frost, as it does not like it. Pruning of the Tuscan Cypress is not necessary, as it grows narrowly upwards by nature.

Upon delivery, the plant has a height of 70 to 80cm (measured incl. pot). The plant comes in a pot with a diameter of 19cm.
