The name of this plant says it all, cats love this Cyperus! Once you place this plant in your home, your cat will leave the rest of your houseplants alone. Also, the plant is not dangerous for cats, the fiber in the cat grass is even good for digestion and contains essential vitamins for cats. So no pesticide or plant food should be used, as this can be dangerous for cats. Care
Originally the Cyperus comes from East Africa where it grew in swamps. Because of this, the plant likes to be watered regularly. The cat grass does not mind standing with its roots in water for a while. So you can choose to fill a saucer under the plant with water. Because of its tropical background, the Cyperus likes a light and warm spot in the house, but be careful of direct sunlight. Furthermore, the plant is not air-purifying, but that won't help your cat anyway!
