The Chlorophytum Atlantis is a popular houseplant, especially because it is incredibly easy to take cuttings from. Its nickname is also Grass Lily because of its green and white striped leaves. The Chlorophytum is one of the best air fresheners you can get in the house. According to NASA research, this plant is very good at removing the harmful substances benzene, formaldehyde and carbon monoxide from the air. Up to 95% of all substances in the air!
Care
The Chlorophytum is not so difficult about care, the plant prefers a light place but in the shade it is also satisfied. Furthermore, the plant likes to be watered twice a week and once a week a spray, but if you forget it once, that's no problem either. The leaves of the Chlorophytum can turn yellow relatively quickly. This is unfortunately part of the plant. It is best to cut these leaves off as close to the ground as possible. Furthermore, the Chlorophytum is very easy to take cuttings, because the cuttings literally grow on the mother plant. You can cut these off and place them in fresh potting soil to grow a new plant!
