Fascicularia 'Bicolor' - Set of 2 - ø13cm - Height 20-30cm

With the Fascicularia, you are adding a special plant to your collection. The plant is native to Chile and is one of their most beautiful native plants. The Fascicularia is notable for its narrow, blue-gray leaves with sharp edges. During summer and autumn, the inner leaves will turn to red. From August through september, red-blue flowers will grow at the heart of these red leaves. The flowering period is quite short, but the striking red color of the leaves remains throughout the winter. This plant is suitable for both indoors and outdoors. If the plant is placed in a pot, it can be placed outside in summer. During winter however, it needs to be moved inside to avoid frost. When planted in the full soil, the Fascicularia is moderately hardy up to -10 °C.

Care
The Fascicularia likes to stand in a spot in the sun to semi-shade in a well-drained, humus-rich soil. Water the plant regularly, but make sure in winter that it does not experience excessive moisture. Provide good drainage. Dead leaves can be removed after winter.

Size
The plants have a height of 20-30cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 13cm.
