Product Information
Acer palmatum 'Taylor' is a rare 'limited edition' Japanese maple! This beautiful little Acer tree is great for placing in pots and containers on the patio or balcony. When the leaves first appear in spring, they have a special salmon pink color. As the leaves age, they will gradually turn green with a creamy white margin. In fall, the leaves change to a striking lime green color, as the last hint of color before they lose their leaves. So with the Acer 'Taylor', you have something to look forward to all year long! When given ample space, the Acer Orange Lace can grow up to 2 meters tall.

Care
Japanese Maples can best be planted from March to early October. During this period, the soil is warm and the plants can root well. In a planter, this plant does not require special potting soil. Japanese Maples are strong plants but in a windy location the leaves can be damaged. Therefore, place the Acer in a sheltered place. The plant prefers a spot in semi-shade, preferably not too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can dry out the roots which can lead to leaf loss and can burn the leaves.

A Japanese Maple is not evergreen, meaning it loses its leaves in winter. However, the plant is very hardy and will sprout again with beautiful new leaves starting in March.

Plant height
Upon delivery, the plant will have a height of 50 to 60cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in a pot with a diameter of 19cm.
