Lonicera henryi 'Copper Beauty' is a highly decorative honeysuckle with beautiful, strikingly coloured flowers. This Lonicera is an excellent climbing plant to liven up a wall or fence. Honeysuckle is known to spread a lovely scent, especially in the evening. This is no different with the Copper Beauty! The Copper Beauty blooms all summer long with unusual yellow flowers. In autumn, the flowers are followed by small purple-black berries, which later turn blue-green. The Copper Beauty is hardy and deciduous and can grow 3 to 4 metres high.
Care
Lonicera Copper Beauty prefers a sunny or semi-shaded position. It does well in any well-drained soil and is hardy. The plant can best be pruned in early spring. The old and damaged branches can then be pruned to the desired height, which stimulates the growth of new shoots. To make Copper Beauty climb as high as possible, you can help the plant by placing a plant rack, for example.
