This mix of green indoor plants do not only create a great atmosphere and provide plenty of oxygen, but what makes them so special is their air purifying qualities! These natural air fresheners are the perfect office plants, but are also pleasant in the living room or bedroom. The plants absorb harmful substances from the air through their leaves, which are then stored and broken down in the plant or in its roots. Furthermore, air-purifying indoor plants convert CO2 into oxygen during the day and they bring water vapor into the air, which improves the air humidity. This air purifying plant mix contains five different indoor plants, which are the following:

Philodendron Atom
The Philodendron Atom is a pretty plant with a compact growth habit. It grows thick and lobed leaves that make the plant really decorative and unique. The Atom is a smaller, compact growing kind that will not grow really fast. It prefers a lighter spot without direct sunlight.

Clusia Rosea 'Princess'
The Clusia Rosea 'Princess' is a strong house-plant with sturdy leaves that shine beautifully. It grows on different substrates, ranging from marshes, tropical forests to lava lands. The Clusia is a good air purifier and can clean up to 30m2 of air. Clusia is a robust houseplant that does not need difficult maintenance. It is also the houseplant-trend of the season!

Asplenium Crispy Wave
The Asplenium Crispy Wave is a strong fern which grows particularly well indoors. Originally, the Crispy Wave comes from the forests in Japan and Taiwan, where it grows on tree branches and rocks. The fern has fierce, wavy leaves and is lighter in color than most ferns. It prefers a moist soil and a light spot, without direct sunlight.

Areca Lutescens
The Areca palm has many names but is most commonly known as the Golden Palm. The Areca palm is one of the best palms to have in the house, it not only filters a lot of toxic substances from the sky, but looks beautiful too. Regularly water the Areca and place it at a lighter spot without direct sunlight.

Spathiphyllum
The Spathiphyllum is also called the Peace Lilly, due to its white flowers that resemble lilly's. It is a beautiful plant that originates from Colombia and Venezuela. The upright white flowers are characteristic of this plant. The flowers of the Spathiphyllum are always white and usually extend above the plant, giving it extra attention. The bigger the plant, the bigger the flowers. The Spathiphyllum prefers a light place without direct sunlight, and a moist soil.
