The fruit trees come with a height between 25 and 40 cm. So you receive a real do-it-yourself growing kit. Will you manage to grow these fruit trees into large trees?
The mix consists of:
Olea Europaea is the most common olive tree. The olive tree is immensely popular in Northern Europe. This tree is hardy and evergreen and can also bear fruit with us. However, it is important to protect this tree from frost for the first few years until it is sufficiently hardy.
Ficus Carica, or fig tree, owes its popularity to its deliciously sweet and easy-to-store fruits. In winter, the fig tree loses its leaves only to regrow new buds in spring. Also with the Ficus Carica, it is important to protect the tree from frost for the first few years.
Citrus Limon, or lemon tree, easily produces fruits that are also edible.
Bring a little summer into your own garden! Moreover, the Citrus Limon is also very suitable as a houseplant. The lemon tree cannot tolerate frost and should always be kept frost-free during the winter months.
Citrus Mitis Calamondin, better known as the bitter chamber orange, is a cross between the Mandarin and the Citrus Kumquat. This chamber orange develops small round, orange fruits that grow up to 4cm in diameter. This tree can also bear flowers and fruit at the same time and is also suitable as a houseplant. The Citrus Calamondin cannot tolerate frost and will need to be kept frost-free during the winter months.
