Product Information
The name Prunus Armeniaca suggests that the plant is originally from Armenia, but this is not true! The tree is originally from northeastern China. It grows delicious apricots that are a bit smaller than normal. This makes them perfect for the temperate climate of northwestern Europe. The apricots can be harvested in August. The ripe apricots can be eaten as is, but are also delicious through jam. The apricot tree also has beautiful pale pink flowers that bloom from March to early April. It brings life to the garden by attracting butterflies and bees.

Care
The plant prefers a sheltered spot in sun/semi-shade facing south. The more sun the plant gets, the better the fruits will grow. It likes to stand in well-drained soil. Furthermore, the plant can be pruned annually in winter. Crossing branches can then be removed. Prunus Armeniaca likes to be fed in early spring.

Plant height
Upon delivery, the plant has a height of 90 to 100 cm (measured incl. pot). The plant comes in a pot with a diameter of 21cm.
