Product Information
The oriental wild vine (Parthenocissus tricuspidata), is a beautiful, self-attaching vine with an enchanting red fall color. Thanks to its strong adhesive roots, the vine grows quickly and securely against facade and fence. In autumn the leaves turn bright red with beautiful orange hues in between. Then it loses its leaves in winter. Parthenocissus is a very fast-growing climber. It is also very hardy and can even tolerate temperatures down to -30C without any problems. Nevertheless, we recommend covering young plants in moderate to severe frosts. The wild vine can grow up to 6 meters high.
Care
The wild vine is a very easy plant that needs little care. Place the plant in a permeable soil and do not water too much. It needs no support and easily climbs up by itself against its substrate. At the beginning, however, you can help the plant to grow in the desired direction. Place one or two plants per linear meter for the best effect.
Plant height
On delivery, the plants have a height of 25 to 40cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 9cm.
