Calathea Insignis
The Calathea Insignis is a beautiful special houseplant with green-red leaves and an amazing drawing pattern. The special thing about this Calathea is that the leaves move by themselves. The plant closes its leaves in the evening to open them again in the morning. The Calathea Insignis needs little light and prefers to be watered regularly. The plant is ideal for people with pets, as it is non-toxic!
Philodendron Green Princess
The Philodendron Green Princess is the maverick of the Philodendron family. Where Philodendrons are usually climbing plants, the Green Princess is a compact plant with small, sturdy, dark green leaves. The plant likes a high humidity because of its origins from the rainforest. Furthermore, the Green Princess does not need a lot of light, making it perfect for rooms that receive less light!
Strelitzia Reginae
Strelitzia Reginae, also known as Bird of Paradise, is an incredibly popular houseplant. It owes its name to the tropical bird shaped flowers that the plant can produce. The Strelitzia prefers a sunny spot and can be placed outside during spring and summer to add a tropical atmosphere to your patio. As the plant ages, cracks will appear in the leaves, which is nothing to worry about. This is an evolutionary adaptation that allows wind to pass through the leaves.
