Callistemon Laevis, also called lampshade plant, is an evergreen Mediterranean plant with strong, compact leaves that are bronze-red when sprouting and then turn gray-green. In summer, it treats you to a smashing display of fiery red "bottlebrush" flowers. Not only do they provide a punchy show of color, but they also attract bees and butterflies. Thanks to its beautiful flowers, the Callistemon is a real jewel for the garden. Ideal for growing in a large pot, the plant can be used indoors or in the greenhouse in the cool months and placed outside on the patio in the summer.
Care
The Callistemon prefers a spot in the sun and can withstand wind well. It does not like severe frost and can stay outside down to -4ºC. It is best to put the tree inside during the winter. Therefore, Callistemon is best kept as a tub plant so that it can overwinter frost-free. As for the maintenance of the plant, it is recommended to prune immediately after flowering. This will stimulate the growth of the branches and the plant will produce flowers again the following year.

Upon delivery, the plants have a height of 90 to 110cm (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 21cm.
