It is a graceful houseplant that requires little care, making it very suitable for anyone without a green thumb. The leaves of the Dracaena Charley can be recognised by their double green shades. The Dracaena, also known as the dragon tree, is one of the strongest and easiest houseplants to look after. The word Dracaena comes from the Greek word 'drakaina', meaning 'female dragon'. The plant got the name because some Dracaena species possess red sap like the Dracaena Draco. This sap used to be considered dragon's blood.
